- What you’ll need:
- 1 1/2 cups cheese, monterey jack, cheddar, anything that melts easily
- 3 cloves garlic, minimum
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- Fresh lemon to taste
- Loaf of crusty bread, sourdough works well
- Instructions:
- Heat your state shaped skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and minced garlic and cook until the garlic softens and starts to brown on the edges.
- Reduce heat to very low and add the cheese cubes. Allow them to slowly melt. You may gently poke the cheese but don’t stir or disturb it too much.
- When it is fully melted, squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the cheese.
- Bring to table and dip right out of the pan with crusty sourdough bread.
