What you’ll need:
1 1/2 c cheese, monterey jack, cheddar, anything that melts easily
3 cloves garlic, minimum
1 Tbsp olive oil
Fresh lemon to taste
Loaf of crusty bread, sourdough works well
Put it all together:
Heat your state shaped skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and minced garlic and cook until the garlic softens and starts to brown on the edges.
Reduce heat to very low and add the cheese cubes. Allow them to slowly melt. You may gently poke the cheese but don’t stir or disturb it too much.
When it is fully melted, squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the cheese.
Bring to table and dip right out of the pan with crusty sourdough bread.
